Music, lots of music, live or recorded or in my head. And all things kinky, errr, you know. And traveling, doesn't matter how far really, just going different places is great. Hmmmm, used to be big into martial arts but haven't done that for a while. And books, novels, biographies, clever books, dumb books, with pictures. My cat. My flatmates. My friends. Mine mine, all mine! Jeez, lots of stuff really.
I'd like to meet:
Really nice, intelligent and amazing looking girls who want to marry me, people to travel with or meet while I'm traveling, people who've got something to say, anyone who wants to give me money... you get the idea! And Tom Waits, David Bowie, Chuck Palahniuk, Douglas Coupland. And a few dead people... bummer!
Music:
This needs to be constantly updated... all timers include Tom Waits, Morrissey & The Smiths, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, The Pixies, Ani DiFranco, Janis Joplin and Blue Cheer (featuring one of my best friends, Dickie Peterson ! Also check out his other band, Mother Ocean ).
And right now it's The Broken Family Band, The Gunshy , The Decemberists, Emmy the Great, , Lily Allen, Cass McCombs, The Only Ones, Kettcar, Wir Sind Helden, Grandaddy, Shack, Hey Gravity , The Undertones, Brian Jonestown Massacre, and loads more... I could go on. But I won't.
Movies:
Again, plenty... Zoolander, Scarface, Big Fish, Donnie Darko, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Natural Born Killers, The Devil's Backbone, Amelie, Big Lebowski, City of God, Tokyo Decadence, Lost in Translation, Audition, Kill Bill, Good bye Lenin...
Television:
... is a device that permits people who haven't anything else to do watch people who can't do anything else. Fred Allen
