About Me

This Profile Created by God & Lucifer in Collaboration (yes!)

At the end of life you may close your eyes saying: "I have not been dominated by the Dominant Idea of my Age; I have chosen mine own allegiance, and served it. I have proved by a lifetime that there is that in man which saves him from the absolute tyranny of Circumstance, which in the end conquers and remoulds Circumstance, the immortal fire of Individual Will, which is the salvation of the Future." Voltairine de Cleyre, 1910
..

to understand the essence of Ayse, you have to watch the movie 'Mars Attacks!' by Tim Burton and pay close attention to the Martians. they are technologically and scientifically advanced; curious about earth and humans and how stuff works; psychotic, and destructive as hell for no apparent reason... but stylish, imaginative, and fun while they do all that.

1984, Onehundred Years of Solitude, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, The Little Prince, this strange book i found years ago called Prague Full of Ghosts (impossible to describe), Advice to a Young Investigator by Santiago Ramon y Cajal. my favourite author is probably overall Terry Pratchett, i like Stephen King, some Clive Barker, and as a rule good sci-fi will generally work, horror depends, and am not too much of a fantasy fan in general. poetry: hmm... Popculture magazines. i read loads of non-fiction, work-related and about lots of other things as well... too much to list.
the clocks are not in unison; the inner one runs crazily on at a devilish or demonic or in any case inhuman pace, the outer one limps along at its usual speed. what else can happen but that the worlds split apart, and they do split apart, or at least clash in a fearful manner. Franz Kafka, diary, entry from jan 16 1922.

Heroes:

Let us have Men, Men who will say a word to their souls and keep it --- keep it not when it is easy, but keep it when it is hard --- keep it when the storm roars and there is a white-streaked sky and blue thunder before, and one's eyes are blinded and one's ears deafened with the war of opposing things; and keep it under the long leaden sky and the gray dreariness that never lifts. Hold unto the last: that is what it means to have a Dominant Idea, which Circumstance cannot break. And such men make and unmake Circumstance. Voltairine de Cleyre (1866-1912)

Great men are sometimes geniouses, occasionally children, and always incomplete.
Santiago Ramon j Cajal (1852 -1934)

"And all of a sudden she knew the answer to her question all to well. lf she had acted like them she could not have defended a single one of her actions. And could not have condemned them harshly enough. lt was as if her sorrow and pain finally assumed their rightful place... No. What they had done, was not good enough. And if one had the power to put it to rights, it was one's duty to do so... For the sake of the other towns, for the sake of humanity, and not least, for the sake of the human being that was Grace herself..."
