R&B Street - Prince of New York!

About Me

Sky Dalimit aka R&B Street!

Some call him R&B Street, some call him Hip-Hop Soul.... But "i just really want to be known as a young spirit with an old soul, from the hood bottom, ghetto streets that happens to sing R&B, HipHop, Soul," says the 20 something years old singer/songwriter/producer/co-ceo of Heatrock Entertainment, Inc. Sky Dalimit aka "R&B Street". Keeping his head up high toward the Sky, no matter what allows him to go even higher after his dreams, this Haitian/Brooklyn R&B Street singer has managed to combine R&B Soul with hard street Hip-Hop, strongly distinguishing himself from R&B's more schooled and priviledge singers. And he is one of the few artist who can actually write, sing and produce his own songs, that the street can feel and relate too, Sky Dalimit is the voice for the streets cries pain and happiness, Sky Dalimit music can be bump from the streets to the sheets.

Sky Dalimit born Ricardo Pierre on Feb. 20 in General Hospital, Haiti Port-Au-Prince, came to the United States at the age of 7 and was raised on Flatbush Brooklyn New York to be exact. The Brooklyn R&B Street / Hip-Hop / Soul singin Haitian sensation always had a musical career in mind. Although as a child, there were no voice or piano lessons, he always use to listen to Hip-Hop, R&B/Soul, inlcuding Reggae/Dancehall and the most people that had an impact on him was Biggie Smalls, Dr.Dre, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Nas, Tupac, Fugees, Bob Marley but when it comes to R&B / Soul, it was all the greats from the 60's, 70's & defenitley Marvin Gaye, and R. Kelly who and is still his biggest influence and his greatest Inspiration and mentor in life, because just like me Marvin Gaye was a troubled man that was battling alot of demons & things in his life trying to find his true calling "God Almighty",

and just like most of us R.kelly came from the hood, the streets, lost his mom, face alot of trials and tribulations to get where he is, and is still facing them today, by having alot of people judging and casting stones at him, and that's why today i relate to R.kelly more than ever and his music because he has helped me through life. "R.kelly is the best who ever done it yesterday, today and in the years leading up it took people like him to break the barriers with what we could and could not do with music, by taking R&B / Soul to the next level. He mixes R&B Soul with other genre (mix culture), and can easily flip it by giving you the gangsta, gentleman, hood, hate, love, religious, world, hood, ghetto and the street" says Sky Dalimit, so that now we are limitless, (that's why i am Dalimit) R.kelly is the king of R&B and i'm the the Prince from Haiti / Flatbush Brooklyn New York, that has finally rise from the bottom up and is ready to takeover the R&B Scene! like it or not u gonna have to Prince me!....

Growing up in the streets of Flatbush Brooklyn New York Sky Dalimit got into alot of troubles, beefs, dramas including gangs, been sent back to Haiti so he could change his life around, and that's when he suffered the greatest depression of all when he found out that his Mother was dying due to sickness uknown, and his mom told him to promise her when he goes back to New York he'll change his life around and do good for himself and his sister, while watching his Mother pass away, hurting because he can't help his mother in any way, but to make a promise to her that he'll change his life around for the better..

But things change when he got back in N.Y.C he finds out u ain't nothin without a mother and especially when u have a father that doesn't give a damn about you and say you'll never be nothing, and most of the family members are all about themselves, except for one of his aunt who took him in at 16 after his father moved to Miami leaving him homeless, so growing up without a mother and father who barely know he exist, not giving a damn about his life anymore he got into more troubles, cutting school, hanging out catching beefs, got kicked out his aunt house, so he start hustle and Grind to get by, but his experience with some so-called fake friends & the street life made him stronger, wiser and grew up fast so he decided to move to boston away from the crazy fast life and went to finish school and got his computer technician degree and business degree to prove to his father and family that he was and will always be more than some thing or some body,he is "Sky Dalimit". .

But after all the pain and lifes struggle he encounterd Sky Dalimit finishes school and move back to brooklyn to persue and focus on his music career. Catching up with his old brother / best friend Gregory "Dean Obanion" Faustin that helped him through the years they formed Heatrock Entertainment Inc. So they can put out their own music and be their own bosses C.E.O.s, While working on outside projects, he's constantly in the studio "Heatrock's Kitchen" cooking & working on his solo and group "Heatrock" albums. Sky Dalimit "R&B Street" always stay true and keeps it real, by being in the streets and constantly dropping mixtapes, with heat singles like "R&B Wankstas", "Robin' Hotel", and Step In The name of Thugs", his own twist on 50 Cents "Wanksta", Cassidy / R.kelly's "Hotel", and Step In The Name of Love" - he got that recipe the streets been wanting to taste for so long. "Sky Dalimit wouldn't be R& B Street if he wasn't in the streets keeping it real, he would be a fraud, like those other R&B sweet, sugar coated pop tart wanna be figgaz", admit Sky Dalimit aka R&B Street.

That's why i'll always be in the street dropping mixtapes, albums, for the streets. "I am the voice of the street" through me you can hear the cries, pains tribulation, sadness, and happiness of the streets, so all the great rappers such as Biggie, Tupac, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Dr.Dre, 50, Naz, that are saying they the voice of the street, i feel them, i can relate cuz if they all could've sing they would've sound like me Sky Dalimit "R&B Street". I am the street's voice that sings R&B with Hip-Hop Soul, that the streets can feel and relate too. "My music can be bump from the streets to the sheets":

Sky Dalimit inspirations come from his mother, sister, his brothers, Dean Obanion, Severe, good friend Dorise Bien Aime, Carmen Amara, life itself and formost from music industry legend such as R.Kelly his biggest influence and his greatest inspiration and mentor inlife. including Marvin Gaye, Biggie smalls,Tupac Nas, Jay-z, 50 Cents, Jodeci, Arron Hall, Joe and all the legends that made it possible for us black folks to express our thoughts and feelings as a human being from the ghetto to the world tody. Sky Dalimit could talk forever about his musical inspirations and dreams. The Prince of Brooklyn New York has finally arrived and is ready to takeover the R&B Scene! Prine Me (shout out to my inspiration and mentor, the King of R&B - R.Kelly) "The Sky is Dalimit"
