To underscore its position as the worlds first and only producer of full ship charters devoted solely to jazz music, Jazz Cruises, LLC has now embarked upon its first cruise outside of the United States. In partnership with MOJO Concerts, a Dutch subsidiary of Live Nation, Jazz Cruises, LLC has just announced the inaugural sailing of the North Sea Jazz Cruise, scheduled for July 5-17, 2007, to coincide with the 32nd anniversary of the North Sea Jazz Festival to be held in Rotterdam, Netherlands.This cruise will start in Copenhagen aboard Holland Americas m/s Rotterdam (how appropriate!) and will visit Oslo, Stockholm, Munich and other cities winding up in the port of Rotterdam where the ship will dock and be the hotel for its guests attending the North Sea Jazz Festival.North Sea Jazz Cruise will offer the finest onboard jazz music during the cruise, special opportunities to interact with the musicians and unique and private events during the North Sea Jazz Festival. Your musical host for the cruise will be the world renowned bassist-composer-producer Marcus Miller, a longtime participant at North Sea Jazz Festival. The cruise host will be Theo van den Hoek who everyone associated with North Sea Jazz Festival has known as the man who has made that event happen for many years.
