About Me
From the dark and mysterious depths of Eugene Oregon's Indie Rock scene, comes the band some are calling "That band that's playing here tonight." Yes, that's right folks, lock up the booze, and hide your daughters, because The Ray Charles Manson Family Feud is gearing up to hit the town!
Beware Kats, and Kittens. This ain't no hippie band! Burning down stages with their carnival sideshow mix of Funk, Jazz, Acoustic Balladry (touching, in a very sincere 'we'll totally call you in the morning and sorry about your hair' kind of way) and good ol' fashion nasty, bad ass Rock n' Roll, The RCMFF will hijack your body, and take it for a spin around the dance floor, whether you like it or not.
You may find yourself thinking, "Hmm, these clowns look vaguely familiar. Do they owe me money?" Well...probably. But, those in the know will recognize these boys as former members of such bands as psychobilly freakout kings "The Liquor Pigs", the German inspired avant noise-pop outfit "Falcor", or the hopelessly deranged funk machine "Uncle Tickles Happy Fun Time Brown Band".
Clearly, with a pedigree this impressive, there can be no question that to experience them live is to be forever changed in a profound and meaningful way. When we say forever, we mean until the next morning, when the sun is shining, the churds are burping, and the hangover has set in. As for profound and meaningful, we totally mean that. Seriously, we're way deep.
Okay, so we might not change your life, but we'll have a damn good time trying. The Players:Nathan Peterson: Mouth, Guitar, Witty Banter/Chadwick Clark: Hand Percussion, More Cowbell/Nate Hall: Bass in Yo Face, Chest Hair/Matthew Vargas: Skins, Whistles/Andy Hoover: Guitar, Loud Noises/
