About Me

Direct Dialect -born 11/12/81 in Pomona, Ca. I am currently enrolled in college studying business administration. I have been listening to hip hop since I was eight years old. Hip hop has always been a part of my life. I don’t really care for the violent & degrading side of hip hop music; I am more focused on conscious and education through my music. I have been making music since 1997. In 2003 Wiltell and I formed the Adversaries – we made a successful full length album and are continuing to make music currently. Although I am a part of a group – I am also a solo music artist. I do not represent any crew or label. I have recorded at many different studios with several engineers. Good music is rare and not usually acknowledged to its full capacity or strength, but by believing in the facts before they have been stated will lead you to your moment of clarity. I am a thought driven person, someone who thinks twice and learns from mistakes. I love all people and places. Life is too short to live in hate. I realized this as I have gotten older. I have played at a variety of venues – mostly Los Angeles underground locations. Feel free to contact me for booking inquiries and press packet submission. –Thanks
Dont Believe The Hype Released December 2007. Running time length of 30.4 minutes. This is the first full length album created exclusively by Direct Dialect since the release of Diggin’ Dirt in 2005. This cd is self titled Dont Believe The Hype speaks for itself. There is way too much hype that fills our ears and the streets! We as a nation need to acknowledge this and not believe the propaganda. It is a sickness all in its own. This album breaks the surface of hip hop. This is just the first of many albums to come.

Diggin’ Dirt Released October 2005. Running time length of 41.2 minutes. This album was written and produced by The Adversaries. All music all this cd (beats and words) was developed by Direct Dialect & Wiltell. This album is the forefront on The Adversaries path to righteousness. Diggin’ Dirt is the concept of discovering the truth by searching it out. We are conscious in all aspects and the songs on this album convey that. Although myself & Wiltell continue to expand in the realm of music creation on their own – we have come to realize that Diggin’ Dirt was one of our best underground albums ever created.
