I'm from Karlsøy, Norway, but I've been living in Denmark for lots of years. I became a bit restless in Copenhagen, so I quit my job, packed my suitcase and went out to see the world, Portland Oregon, that was. I love Denmark, but it was good to get away for a while. ;)
Well, I've just been living in Portland, while I was visiting my friends, Darcy and Geiger.. I stayed for 3 whole months and I loved it with every piece of my heart! I hopefully will be back in August or such, at least for a month..
Creativity is my oxygen. Play for me and I will breathe again. Look at my art and you will see my soul. My mother has always been sewing, painting, drawing and such alike, and I guess I was born with the same addiction. I was sewing a little for my friends shop Alteration Nation on Hawthorne and 40th. I made big poofy skirts, like the white one in my gallery (from new years eve), but I can make much more than that! 90% of all the clothes in my gallery is homemade.
Someday I will finish my education and start my own business, but there is so much more I want to learn first! :) My father is a musician, so that might explain why I'm addicted to music too, especially live. There is no way I can get enough of that. Every year I go to the german festival Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig (goth, EBM, industrial, neo-folk and more) and the danish festival Roskilde , where they play everything from industrial and soft rock, to psy-trance and punk rock! As you may have noticed, I like many different music genres and subcultures, but I feel most like home in the goth scene.
When I need to escape from the big cities I usually visit my mom in the country. We smoke tons of cigarettes, drink beer and coffee, play Ludo and have strange experiences with Tarot and I Ching.
Even though I've always concidered myself as an open book, I realize more and more, that most of the people I meet only look at the cover.. Some day I will try to change that..
