About Me

Call me Cams. I'm a certified pure Filipina, born in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. I can be talkative but I'm a very private person. I can stand being in a crowd and being alone. I'm a thinker--I like spending time just thinking about and reflecting on a lot of things. I'm not a bookworm although I do read books, usually paperbacks (romance.. hehehe), and I love to read books that are pure English (they challenge me). I am ABSOLUTELY CRAZY about music, I really can't live without it! I usually sing in the shower (to vocalize and dream of becoming a singer). I can memorize lines of songs easily too, especially if I really love the song. I'm into alternative music, I think it's really cool. My favorites are Three Doors Down, Hoobastank, Incubus, and Maroon 5. I have high aspirations and I want to be someone famous someday. I'm independent, as in VERY independent that most of the time I don't ask for help. But don't worry, I don't bite. I'm really friendly and nice. I promise! :)

Music:

Oh, I'm a big music lover!!! I can appreciate almost anything, but I have certain favorites too. My favorite Filipino bands are Eraserheads, Rivermaya and Parokya ni Edgar; my favorite foreign bands are Linkin Park, Matchbox Twenty, Incubus, Maroon 5, Three Doors Down and Hoobastank. I think I can appreciate all genres of music, but my favorite is Alternative--I think it's really cool.

Movies:

I am into romantic comedies because I'm a hopeless romantic (hehehe). My favorites are You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle, Someone Like You and The Wedding Singer. Exceptions are the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Matrix trilogy and other cool movies like Van Helsing, Troy and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Television:

Oh, I don't watch much television during school days that's why I don't know much t.v. programs. But my favorite channels are MTV and MYX, and I like watching HBO, Cinemax and Star Movies too when they have good movies to air.

Books:

My favorites are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Doctors by Erich Segal, and the Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Heroes:

My dad... he's an absolute hero. I can tell him anything though I don't tell him everything... hehehe :)
