I'm a second year graduate student at the University of Iowa to obtain my Ph.D. in Neuroscience with a focus in the molecular/cellular field of research. It sounds daunting, and yes, yes it is a dirty task to be a grad student. Not only do I like to perform wild experiments on cells and innocent little fish, but I love to go out and dance and part-tay! At least once a week I open a keg of nails and turn the town upside down. I am an avid fan of trance and hard house and yes, I do realize that I live in Iowa. I have been told by several people that I should have been born in Europe. Speaking of Europe, I have the insanely nagging itch to travel. I must skip over that pond once more! Going off of that skipping comment, I love wearing heels, even though I'm 5'10''. I always wanted to be 6', but I was robbed. I am known to be a friendly, outgoing individual, somewhat of a social butterfly. Another tid-bit about me is that many people claim that I have the most car troubles than anyone that they have ever met. Hey, at least I get from point A to B and sometimes to C!
