Attending a QED show is like being dropped into a video game. Musically, QED combines well-crafted melodic hooks and lush production with high-energy dance grooves. QED is even more exciting live, enhancing their live vocals and instrumentation with mind-bending, high-tech visuals that they create on the fly. Their new album, Mobius, now in stores, features the hits "Love Bites", the high-energy remake of the Def Leppard classic, as well as the infectious "Hardly a Day" and 11 other world class tracks. The groundbreaking video for "Love Bites" was premiered in New York at an exclusive event at the flagship Apple store in Soho and will soon premiere nationally.QED consists of Valentin and vocalist Kristine Hendricks. Valentin, an artist, writer and producer, is the mastermind behind QED. Having taken the world by storm with his hit remix of Deborah Cox' "Something Happened on the Way to Heaven" (ten weeks at 1 on Billboard!) and his uplifting remix of Billboard smash "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera, QED is his vehicle for showing off the full range of his multiple talents.Valentin arranged, produced (or co-produced) and played every instrument on every track on Mobius, and is the male vocalist. QED's other member is classically trained Kristine Hendricks, whose soaring lead vocals are a perfect match for Valentin's uplifting production style. On stage, Valentin and Hendricks sing, play and trigger incredible visual projections from computer keyboards, touch pads, digital cameras and musical instruments to create a whole new dimension of live, multimedia entertainment. It's a never-ending, always different music/visual journey… things will never be the same.The songs on Mobius are an extraordinary showcase for Valentin's many talents and Hendricks' vocal prowess. "Hardly a Day" features an infectious melody punctuated with a euphoric keyboard hook, while the dark, tribal yet trancelike opus "Vampyre" features a diva-like operatic vocal performance by Hendricks, supported by Valentin's medieval chorus chant. "Islands" is a haunting duet, destined to become a classic ballad, while the sensuous electronica of "Alone" is in a category by itself. Lastly, "Epilogue", the album's majestic coda and a companion song to "Hardly a Day", will surprise listeners with its aggressive, crunching guitars and epic feel.
