S I M O N | S L O W , that is Simon Brunke, born and actually living in Hamburg. He is one half of the duo Twisted Pair, the GOA and Ambient Project of Simon Brunke and Gunnar Lippok.Simon Brunke produces his own music since 1992 when he got his first computer. 1995 he formed the Project S O N I C | S C U L P T U R E with Gunnar Lippok. Later Daniel Siedel joined the couple and between 1996 and 2002 they released 3 LP’s under this name. They also did a couple of Live-Performances, Ambient as well as Psytrance.
In the end of 2002 when Daniel left Sonic Sculpture, Gunnar and Simon formed the Twisted Pair Project. The Twisted Pair Project continues the idea of tight, fast but melodic GOA-Sound that is reached by the totally different sound-visions of both. Simon stands for shining ambiences but also melancholy and monotony. Gunnar stands for dark sounds, guitar leads and substantial Sound. Put them together and you got the best of both, T W I S T E D | P A I R.S I M O N | S L O W is the new solo project of Simon and a peace of self-realization. It’s Ambient, Lounge, experimental, funny retro stuff, mainly Songs that you can enjoy on your Sofa.
