Tim Daley began his career in music at a young age in Germantown, Maryland. Back then he played blue grass and country in garage bands. He also started writing his own music at an early age. Tim moved to Nashville in 1991.Soon he hooked up with fellow Maryland native Jimmy Knouse and joined the band, Electric Moo. There he met lifelong friends and fellow band members Kyle Garton, Johnny Hassel, John Kittrel and Brian (Squirrel) Sharp. Electric Moo toured all around the country. They played everything from country, and southern rock, to a list of Tim's originals. Tim still plays with these guys at various times and gigs today.
Later Tim founded the well loved Nashville based band, Uncle Sideshow. Here he joined Jimi Galloway, Carl Shankle, Wes Bishop, (later adding Eric DiNenna on drums) and Brian (aka: Squirrel) Sharp. Once again Tim brought with him, his outrageous personality, vocals, and writing. Uncle Sideshow played all over Nashville and the Southeast region, at various colleges, festivals and clubs. They also had the privilege to record under the production of Jim Cotton and Butch Carr (who worked with artists from The Grateful Dead to Billy Ray Cyrus). Some of Tim's fondest memories during this time is when he and Jimi Galloway would throw their guitars and mandolin in the car and head down south to play acoustic shows.
These days you can find Tim playing acoustic shows solo and with various other musicians (those from the earlier days and the new). When you hear Tim Daley, he'll play everything from country, to blues, classic rock, and even blue grass. Its a show you are sure to enjoy. Tim gets his audience involved and loves it when the crowd sings along. You can catch him regularly at Choppers Roadhouse, in Clarksville, TN.,(with Jimmy Knouse and Peter Swadley ). He recently began playing at the Abiff Pubb, in Bon Aqua, TN, on Thursday nights. He is also available for various private parties and functions. He is putting his talents to work writing and recording his original songs. As his work in the studio progresses we will post his works first alone then with the additions of his many talented friends.
