Band Members:There were (are) at least FOUR bands in this world named "Joy". This page is devoted to the Austrian disco band which made big hits in mid-80ies like "Valerie", "Hello", "Japanese Girls", "Touch By Touch"... If these titles don't tell you anything - sorry, probably you came to the wrong place and we guess we cannot be of any help for you. We think, however, that most of yours will find here exactly what you were searching for, and hopefully even more! EnJoy!!! What's excellent about this band is that its name perfectly fits their music. Their best songs are incredibly joyful indeed, they charge you with positive energy. If you have ever seen them on stage or at least on TV, you probably know that all three guys are over 190cm tall which makes them yet more powerful and charismatic. Combination of it with soft cheerful teasing voice of Freddy Jaklitsch, those catchy rhythms typical for 1985-1987 and special synthesized harmonica sound in many songs create all together this magic phenomenon called Joy.
