Start From Scratch is a 4 piece Rock band from Shonan, Japan and the beautiful island of Hawaii. Mixing sounds and styles from two completely different places, SFS produces a sound which cannot be confined into one genre. Music should be made for everyone to hear, borderless and completely Universal... just plain ol' good music is what SFS is aiming for. Lead vocalist Aaron adds his Hawaiian flavor to 3 other members with Japanese punk rock backgrounds creating a chemical balance that cannot be duplicated. SFS exploded into the scene with the speed of a HIKARI BULLET TRAIN!! First single " New Beginning " gained enormous popularity and was downloaded off of iTunes 27,000 times in it's first week.
Start From Scratch records at Orangecrush Studio in Orange County, California with the help of music god/engineer and producer Scott Silletta (ex. Plankeye Vocal/Gtr) Sir Scott's musical magic and melody spicing techiniques gives Start From Scratch the final cherry on top to make all their songs delicious for the ears and heart.
Playing at Punkspring'07, Summer Sonic, Arabaki Rock Festival, touring with +44, MxPx, The Offspring, Mad Caddies, are only a few of the accomplishiments SFS has done in 2007. With a fresh year 2008, look out for a new Full Length coming soon!!!
