Los Angeles-based composer/producer Bill Conn creates scores for film, television, and interactive media. With a twenty-five year career as a composer, studio musician, and live performer, Conn is an experianced professional whose work can be heard throughout the world. His style of blending modern electronic music with contemporary classical, creates musical scores that enhance the emotional and visual experiance of the audience.
His first scoring break came in 1997 when he was asked to join the staff at Media Ventures and became a member of Academy Award winning composer Hans Zimmers team. For the next three years, he worked directly with Zimmer on such films as Gladiator and Prince Of Egypt as well as other Media Venture composers including John Powell, Jeff Rona and Harry Gregson-Williams.
In 2001, after colloborating with several indivduals and teams, Conn decided to launch Conn Artist Music Group (C.A.M.G.), a full service audio production company providing quality music, sound design, and voice-over recording. His clients include Dreamworks, Sony, Vivendi Universal, Disney, Discovery Channel, PBS, InfoSpaceMobile, Cingular, Samsung, Microsoft, and Harmonix.
Throughout his career, Conn has remained current with all things musical. He is a graduate of The Berklee College of Music as well as The Grove School of Music. He has also studied composition privately with Jack Smalley and conducting with William Kittering. In addition, he is an active member of the Game Audio Network Guild, The Society of Composers and Lyricists, Film Music Network, and B.M.I.
