Raised by his uncle & aunt in Birmingham,AL ,he looked up to his older brother Arthur (TINY) Holloway, who was signed to Motown at the time.He already knew what he wanted to do. Forever learned to play the guitar in church. While under his uncles tutelage, Forever also began to explore the ivory keys of the piano. His older brother bought him his first keyboard and that opened the doors to a whole new world.Although school was important to him, his heart was in another place. Forever decided to decline several college music scholarships and move back to Georgia.Upon his arrival in Atlanta, Forever soon discovered that the road paved with gold would take a major effort, so he would catch the local Marta Transportation train to different recording companies that he searched for in the phone books. With no results in shopping his demo, he later met a local producer(BOLO) who happened to know his cousin. Forever was then invited by the producer to a recording studio, where the R&B group, Silk was recording. They requested that I sing for them, and once they heard my voice, that was the spark that started me on my musical journey, says Forever.Forever would go on to produce two songs for Silks album. His production and writing skills would go on to generate interests from Elektra Records, where he would work with their artists: Gerald Levert; Nicole Wray, Next, Profile, Nivea, Ghetto Mafia, Lil Zane, Ray J., C-Note, Mista , Silks second commercial album and was signed to Babyface's publishing company (EDMONDS PUBLISHING) as a writer/producer.Yearning to return to the stage as a performing artist, Forever met Ms.April Love(an up and coming new manager) who he was introduced to by his friend Byrd.they joined forces with another cat that April knew named Miz and formed the group named, Nine20. Forever wrote, produced and sang lead vocals within the confines of the group. Through hard work and determination, Nine20 was signed to MCA Records where they would create an album, Prime Time (released January 2002) featuring the radio single, What Would You Do?The debut album from Nine20 never surfaced to the public as a commercial release. I feel that it's truly time for me to fulfill my dream of being a solo artist. In a group situation, I was not able to explore or express the persona I felt represented who I was as a performer, says Forever. Acknowledging true performers such as James Brown, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Prince and Curtis Mayfield, Forever developed an eclectic persona, psychedelic hip hop/soul, which expresses his passion for the various genres of Soul music that he embodies. Music is my life. I just want to get music back to what it use to be...real singing and musically touching. Its a feeling that you get inside. The stage is my true playground, Forever explains.Forever...the artist, the experience!Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com
