A graduate of SUNY College at Purchase, Ms. Caicedo is an innovative writer, director and producer who has overseen the production of over 20 success theatrical productions. Ms. Caicedo is the CEO, Founder and the “heart and soul†of Caicedo Productions. Drawing upon her urban cultural experiences and extensive creativity, Ms. Caicedo has used her unique vision to produce such plays as Sweet Stuff, The Psychic, Losin’ My Religion, The Search for My Inner Latina, and
Songs from Coconut Hill, among others. Ms. Caicedo has served as Theater Director for Project
Reach Youth and Teatro El Puente. Currently, she is the theater manager for Teatro LA TEA at the
Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center and theater director/coordinator for the Loisaida Players at Loisaida Inc. Ms. Caicedo has been honored in 2003 through the Latino College Expo for her work with youth in
theater education and in 2002 she was acknowledged by the FBI for Hispanic Heritage month.
Ms. Caicedo a member of IFP (Independent Films Projects) and NALIP (National Association of
Latino Independent Producers).Though theatre has been the stalwart of her career, Ms. Caicedo also has an impressive and
extensive roster of cinematic experience. As well as directing the first half of principal photography
for Circle of Time, Ms. Caicedo completed Producing/Directing an independent feature entitled
