In my spare time, of which there is precious little, I like to fish, go sailing in my yacht, head down to my local (the King's Arms), roller blade, potter about in my garden, work on my various scripts, hang about outside schools, head down to the local amateur wrestling group, rescue stray animals from my local RSPCA centre, go golfing, play rugby, fly kites, practice my tai kwon do (I'm a red tag), cook, make sock puppets, make new friends on internet chat rooms, hang out on the set of Eastenders (when they let me), go hang gliding, ski, and go deer hunting. I am also a member of the Tony Caunter Appreciation Society. Though I should point out it's only for the look of the thing. I don't actively involve myself in the running of the group.
Tony has enough trouble meeting everyone that wants to meet him, let alone starting his own list.
Classical, with one or two more talented pop groups thrown into the mix for good measure.
I don't really have as much free time as I'd like, and I'm sorry to say that I view film as a dead media. I try not to assosciate myself with it. There are a handful of films that I can sit and watch, but not many. Theatre and television are much stronger than film.
I don't really have enough free time to watch TV. I only normally catch the news. If I have a spare half hour I usually 'whack on' an old Eastenders tape. Those were good times.
I'm currently working on my autobiography; The Life And Times Of An Old English Rogue, the Tony Caunter Story. I don't get much time to raed other peoples work, but when i do I tend to like the old classics over most of the newer stuff that's around. I am also working on a collection of short stories, to be entitled; From The Mind Of Caunter.
I don't have any heroes. If people think of me as one, then that's fine, but I have none myself.
