Aykut Imer: Born 1991. Turkish. Sleeps and wakes up with football. Galatasaray fan. Also a Renault F1 fan. Speaks body language and music. This myspace idea started out when a friend of him told him that he should have a page, a place that he could serve his music to other people. Few people liked his music and Aykut and his friends thought that they could make this bigger. So thats why theyve created an account here; to reach people all around the world.
There is only one FAQ and its "Is Champ Magnétique a group or just a guy?". Well actually you can't cal it a group but as Aykut writes and records the songs, there are always some friends there to help him. In 2005 summer, Champ Magnétique started out as a trio funk band but after a while it turned out to be a "project". Yes, thats what we like to call it; a project. Champ is a project more than a band. Aykut and friends make music for a purpose and when they reach it, this project will come to an end. That might take few years or few weeks! You never know. Call it a band if you like but we see Champ Magnét as a project , something like Bright Eyes maybe.
So Aykut is not the only one after all this music, but yes, he's the brain of the band. He carries the weight of the band on his shoulders. He's a nice guy. He listens music before breakfast. Plays the guitars, violin, saxophone and the keyboards on the records. Vocals are also sung by him.
