Finding Jack the Novel

Finding Jack...my novel, my curse, my savior which led me to Sri Lanka

About Me

I am a nobody, an everybody. I am a tear drop in the ocean of life, yet even a single tear has its purpose.I am a guy that was halfway done writing a novel about the religions of the world coming together before the aliens attack when the tsunami happened.I am a guy that hitch hiked a ride on an NGO plane with Global Peace Initiative after God told me to get up off of my ass from celebrating 420. Now I am a guy that celebrates 420 who is working for peace in the world.I am a guy that walked away from volunteering thinking that what I did wasn`t enough.I am a guy that decided to do more so I built a backpacker`s hostel and peace hotel in Kataragama, Sri Lanka where the islands major religions come together everyday, where Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism are practiced side by side peacefully.I am a guy that is going to do everything in his power to publish Finding Jack so everyone can see that peace in the world is possible--it is so right where I live in Kataragama.

And if you would like to help me get my name out there, that would be swell.

Music:

Everything under the sun. Whatever gives me goosebumps, and I get goosebumps closing my eyes imagining the singers loving their music so much that they close their eyes to sing as well. Phish, Dave Matthews, Chick songs chick songs chick songs, O.A.R., Asian Dub Foundation, Old school Rap, Cat Stevens, Fleetwood Mac, Rolling Stones, Xavier Rudd, Roy Orbison, Lionel Richie, Billy Joel, Grateful Dead, Stereophonics, Waking Ashland, Blink 182, Sting, Guster, Disbatch, Nora Jones, Third Eye Blind, Eric Clapton, Jack Johnson...and the list goes on and on.....

Movies:

Wow...the list is too long. The only thing we do in Sri Lanka is celebrate 420, listen to music and watch movies...or do we listen to movies and watch music? I don't know...maybe it's from 420.

Television:

Don`t watch it really--too many commercials.

Books:

Wow. The one that still blows me away is The Bridges of Madison County.

Heroes:

My father, even though I haven`t talked to him in so long, yet everyday I quote something he said to me or remember a lesson he taught me. He stopped talking to me when I started with 420. What he doesn`t know is that when I started with 420 was when I truly found out there is a God.
