Band bio . . . Blake has wanted a band for a very long time. He met a guitarist named Jordan and told him how much he wanted to be famous and all that jazz. So Jordan told him about how he works at a recording production studio called Cloud Nine, and Blake had a fit, so he works writing songs for 2 years getting people together for a band. He talks to this kid named Matt and asks him to be a 3rd guitarist and scream, but eventually realizes he doesn't want 3 guitars, so he tells Matt that he is just going to scream. Matt is okay with this and we have our first band practice involving Connor on drums and Grant on bass. Now, and a band with no name is born! But we decided on not having matt in the band anymore but he's tight with another hardcore band now. After playing a show, and being a band for 4 or 5 months, we finally decide on the name Take Em Down Lad, after Grants brother finds that in the news paper. We've played with Rookie of the Year, The Scene Aesthetic, A Skylit Drive, The Transwit War, Eyes Set to Kill, After the Tragedy, Forever in Motion, and Making in April
