I've come to the realization that life is merely a bunch of tests. Tests of one's ability, strength, charactaer, integrity, and faith. Similar to the tests that we take in school one can either receive a passing grade or a failing grade, but the difference between a written test and a life test is that in life you will always walk away learning something invaluable, something that compliments and strengthens who you are, regardless if you passed or failed.
Two things that make me smile:
When you point out a fire hydrant to your 2nd-3rd grade students and they don't know what it is , yet they can pass by a Starbucks and yell "Starbucks!!" knowing what that is... hehe Kids these days
