About Me

They say art imitates life, which suits me well since I have an endless fascination with both. I can’t help get excited about the world when there’s so much beauty to see. Perhaps that’s why I find myself refueling the adventurer within. Whether it’s renting a helicopter to drop me in a ravine to capture that perfect Palm Springs mountainside or getting up close and personal with the gorillas in Rwanda, there is little that doesn’t keep me going. I’m definitely not Adventure Girl but there’s a certain joy that comes in the planning. My wanderlust has taken me all around the world and I’ve found nothing beats a Tahitian beach and my trusty snorkel or an afternoon in Paris soaking up this beautiful city. As an artist, I’ve been known to indulge in solitude but my extrovert needs to be fed often. Whether I’m dining on Thai food with friends or people watching at an outdoor cafe; these are the moments that keep me excited. "Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. And that special someone who has long since embraced his title as Mr. Nice Guy. Whether he’s lugging my hiking pack or whipping up my favorite organic decaf, he’s knows that kindness reaps great rewards. He’s a little bit Renaissance man with a dash of Dr. Doolittle thrown in. He loves to create but whatever he does he’s certain the passion he brings to his work makes his days a little brighter. What else makes them brighter? Catching a live show, moonlit strolls in the Mexican Riviera or calling just to hear the sound of my voice. Romance might be dead to some but he’s committed to bringing it back to life. Flowers and candlelight are just a few of his standbys that somehow never seem old. His sense of direction never fails him but it doesn’t mean he can’t get lost when it matters. When does it matter? When he’s standing by my side, holding my hand and seeing me smile. He’s learned a lot of things in his life but one thing he knows is that it isn’t always easy finding the person that compliments, encourages and inspires you but it’s always worth the wait.
