I LOVE writing. I write books, stories, tv scripts - full of quirky, sarcastic and unforfilled people. As mentioned before I love nature - enjoy walks in the countryside or with my woofer. I love all animals but have a fondness for dogs. My other big love is my music - I couldn't live without my music - though I will go into more detail elsewhere. I have recently started going to the local gym and am enjoying it very much - my favourite is the rowing machine -LOVE IT!!!
I tell you who I wouldn't like to meet, me the day after a late night or one to many beers ;-(( Hideous!!I would like to meet: Meat Loaf - Though I did meet him in a dream years ago, and that was cool. My granddad John - who died when I was four years old and from everything I've been told, we would have got on great. Julia Sawalha - My all-time number one favourite actress. I have been a fan for over 15 years now, went to see her in 'A midsummer night's dream' at Stafford back in 1992, also at the filming of Ab Fab and Faith in the Future. I adore Press Gang, a wonderful top-quality series, which is endlessly watchable.
My musical tastes are varied: Meat Loaf, Metallica, The Corrs, Evanescence, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Amy Macdonald. My other (newer) music tastes are more two or three songs of various artists - NIN, Black Light Burns, Snow Patrol, U2, Johnny Cash.
The Crow, Shawshank Redemption, Groundhog Day, As Good as it gets, any Nicolas Cage films (Snake Eyes), LA Confidential, My cousin Vinny, and many more!...........
My tv tastes are varied, though I dislike reality shows full stop. My fav US shows are: Homicide: Life on the street, Law & Order: Criminal Intent (Vincent is excellent!), Monk, CSI: Miami, NCIS - fantastic series!! :-)) Favourite UK shows: Press Gang, Murphy's Law, Dalziel & Pascoe, G.B.H., Drop the dead Donkey, and anything starring J.S. :-))
My favourite book is called "The death and life of Charlie St Cloud" It is a fantastic book and one of those that you loathe to stop reading and put down. It is a story of love, death, life, love and the mysteries of the afterlife. I would recommend that everyone should read it. Right now. Go and get a copy and start reading straight away. I'll still be here when you get back. I also love the Dalziel and Pascoe crime books by Reginald Hill, the series is brilliant, and the books are just as good, the way they are written is so skillful and a pleasure to read, even if you know who did it!
My number one heroine is my Mum, for all her bravery throughout her fight in the last year of her life, and for all the other numerous things she has battled through, and always with a smile and a twinkle in her eye, putting others before herself and with a love of life. Mum, until we meet again. :-)
