Hello everybody and welcome to myspace page.I'm guitarist and composer, born in Jagodina, Serbia on October 1976.Back in time I was "NO SMOKING ORCHESTRA" lead guitar player for 3 years.I played acoustic and electric guitar in EMIR KUSTURICA's movies "Black Cat - White Cat", "Life is a Miracle".Nearly after that had a role to acting myself:) in documentary movie from the same director "Super 8 Stories"...After finished collaboration with No Smoking orchetra, I was a guitar player with VASIL HADZIMANOV BAND for few months only.Same year I'm meeting SLOBODAN TRKULJA and gettin my first session work with him on his debut record "PRIZIVANJE KISE" .I won a schoolarship from"Total Guitar Magazine" and went to study at Guitar Institute in London.Was an outstanding student of the year.I performed aswell at "London Guitar Show" and promotiong the school and "Carlsbro" amps at "NEC Birmingham" music fair.Worked with producers such as MIKE NIELSEN (Jamiroquai, Underworld...) and YAK BONDY on Emma Bunton Ep "Cricket sings for Anna Maria" and S Club 8 "Sundown" LP. Colaborating with ROCKY SINGH, ex ADF drummer on his project "Left Hand Drive".After 2years in London had a great time recording first Rock Opera in Belgrade with Wikluh Sky "Zagadjenje u Japanu".High lights in career so far: Jimmy Hendrix birthday gig and exibition of unreleased photos at his flat in Brooke street, London; Prima maggio concert in Rome with Emir Kusturica & "No Smoking Orchestra" in front of 600.000 people, supporting Erykah Badu; "Pistoia Blues Festival" in Toscana serried with Jeff Beck, Larry Carlton, Van Morisson; "Nice Jazz Festival" 2001; "North Sea Jazz Festival" 2002; "Montrael Film Festival" 2000 - 2001; South America tour with Emir Kusturica & "No Smoking Orchestra" in Chile, Argentina, Brasil, Venezuela; with Ceca on "Usce", Belgrade 2006 in front of 150.000 people, with Slobodan Trkulja and Balkanopolis Band all together with "Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra" at "Centar Sava", Belgrade+with same artist at the same place,concert with METROPOLE ORCHESTRA and BALKANOPOLIS... Almost spend a year playin European tour with Serbian pop singer "ZELJKO JOKSIMOVIC".At the moment playin tour with the biggest Balkan star "CECA RAZNATOVIC" and amazing Marrocain-Senegalese drummer MOKHTAR SAMBA.Hopefull i'll start gigin' with my band as soon the album is released.Musicians on my debut album were: BOJAN Z-rhodes and xenophone,VASIL HADZIMANOV-rhodes,ALEKSANDAR BANJAC-keys,MARKO DJORDJEVIC-drums,MOKHTAR SAMBA-drums,OMAR EL BARKAOUI-drums,HADRIEN FERAUD-bass,VLADIMIR SAMARDZIC-bass,ISTVAN MADJARIC-bass,SLOBODAN TRKULJA-sax and kaval and myself on acoustic and electric guitar.
