About Me

i'm from the place where salsa is made by folks who know what salsa should taste like. also, the inspiration for a song by dj quik...jus' like compton. who remembers that?! lol enjoying my twenties, experiencing atlanta, and digging anything that has to do with the arts. i am a freelance writer and i cover mostly arts & music events in atlanta. two of my favorite things: writing and music. so when the two get to come together i'm on cloud 99.i'll be posting my articles in my blog, chronicling my interesting experiences...who i've met, spots i checked out, and anything in the arts that i'm really digging. one of my theme songs is michael jackson's off the wall because i believe in enjoying life and not getting stuck in the rut of routine. if you're an artist, i say do everything you can to remind yourself that you are creative...listen to jazz, go to art galleries, read good poetry, enjoy the silence. do something that inspires you.
in heavy rotation: kidz in the hall, the roots "rising down," estelle's "shine"Cute Myspace Layouts
