The Remnant started in a dorm room housed next to students who would inevitably make more money than them. The Remnant is okay with that. They just want to make the songs that you can listen to while you cash checks, give birth and grow facial hair. They have performed at countless bars, festivals and clubs to the drunken applause of the self-deluded. They have also ministered at countless church services to the drunken applause of the self-righteous. All in all, they count it a successful show if they can stand on any stage and get through their set without breaking into uncontrollable tears. The Remnant has been known to pop up in any city these days, but mostly will be located in Atlanta, GA. The Remnant will not blink first. They have a new album coming out in 2009 titled PB&J: Players, Babes and Jesus. It is an album filled with good songs for good people and bad songs for bad people. If you think the album could be better, then become a better person. They don’t really make songs; they just talk to themselves and occasionally press record. There are three members of the group, but only one passes the paper bag test. As of 2008, The Remnant has released two albums. The first record was called Restless Youth and it had a great focus with horrible songs. The second album was called After School Special and it had a horrible focus with great songs. They gained and lost fans with both releases to break even. The third project, PB&J, is a marketing ploy designed to trick people who want food into buying music. All jokes aside, The Remnant loves God and music and believes they don’t have to be mutually exclusive. We do not make music to heal you; we just want to stop the bleeding. We have a new album dropping Valentine’s weekend 2009 titled PB& J: Players, Babes, and Jesus.
