About Me

Hey. I realize that most of myspace is younger than me, but what the hell. I figured I would try it; I browsed and found some interesting chat going on. I am a lawyer in the Wash, DC area who works for the federal govt. What do you need to know about me? I was a punk/experimental dj in college in the 80s and caught the underground culture bug; ever since, I've been into other music, psychotronic films, cult TV and the like. Sometimes it's hard to find kindred spirits in the straight-laced world of law. Don't club like I used to, but always interested in hearing about new bands, films, galleries and whatnot. There, that's about it... Oh, and yes, I do have multiple sclerosis and am always anxious to network with other sufferers. Man, do I need a cooler picture. I feel like toasting the END of Harry Potter.I guess there are software programs that just mass-add people. I don't do that. I love scanning myspace for interesting and creative people, bands, etc. If you get a friend request from me, be nice. It means I have found something amazing, extraordinary, lovably bizarre or otherwise compelling, amusing or pleasure-giving about you. You're welcome!Oh, and Brian Eno, Piano Magic, Dennis Hopper, Patrick Swayze and Gong Li...was it something I said??????

Liebling, Katherine Dunn, Lucius Shepard, Pinckney Benedict, George Saunders, Flannery O'Connor, Philip K. Dick, lots of art history (Ross King!), David Sedaris when I need a laugh. Just finished The Rape of Europa by Lynn Nicholas and Martin Gayford's The Yellow House: Van Gogh, Gauguin and Nine Turbulent Weeks in Arles. Very excited about my recently-located copy of Rembrandt's Eyes by Simon Schama, all 750 pp. of it.
