About Me

Protect your freedom!
Rhyn originally formed way back in the summer of 2003, after the members at the time, Chris, Dan, Guy and Loren, had finished their GCSEs and were getting bored. After not really doing very much for some time, the band started to focus and actually try to write some decent songs and get some gigs. This led to a few changes of drummer and the band's first gig in November 2004 with Ollie drumming. Permanent drummer Pete was then recruited in early 2005 and the band played a number of gigs over the summer of 2005. The debut album 'Home Recording Made Easy' was self-released in December 2005. Rhyn have been taking a break from gigging now that all of the members have started university, but they are still writing and recording, and will be playing live again in the summer of 2007.

Videos
There are now 4 videos you can watch & rate in our videos section! The stylishly no-budget video for 'Break the Seal' starring Pusspuss (RIP), a montage video for 'Radiotherapy' featuring lots of our friends and some more seals, and two live videos - our covers of 'A Whole New World' from Disney's Aladdin and the theme from 'Ghostbusters'!
