About Me

Here's what you need to know in 50 words or less. I am a former radio disc jockey and current marketing proffessional. I also do music and audio production and my specialty is a hip-hop, jazz, funk, soul hybrid. I have also been spinning records (as you can tell from all the pictures on the page) for nearly a decade. I can spin just about any genre of music, but I most enjoy hip-hop, some rap, R&B, funk, old school, classics, house and 80's pop and rock. Okay...just a little over 50 words.

My Interests

Music Production and Recording, Graphic Design, Video Shooting and Editing and DJing.

I'd like to meet:

Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones and Jesus (not in a hurry for that one though).

Music:

Hip-Hop, Soul, Neo-Soul, Disco, House and R&B. More specifically: Stevie Wonder, Bootsy Collins, George Clinton, Musiq Soulchild, Bilal, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Pharaoh Monch, Vivian Green, Jill Scott, Adrianna Evans, Davina, Faith Evans, Mary J. Blige (the old stuff), D-Influence, Brooklyn Funk Essentials, Lisa Mclendon, Goapela, John Coltrane, Najee, Alex Bugnon, Jonathan Butler, Biggie, Pac, Big L., and so many others that I can't think of right now.

Movies:

I like anything with a story, but I will list some of my favorites: Knocked Up (funniest movie I have ever seen), 40 Year Old Virgin, Usual Suspects, Spider-Man 1,2 and 3, Underworld 1 and 2, Resident Evil 1 and 2, and just about every zombie and vampire movie I have ever seen. That's enough for now.

Television:

I watch way too much television so here goes: Grey's Anatomy, 24, Prison Break, House, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, Eureka, Stargate Atlantis, CSI Miami, Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, Law and Order: CI, Kitchen Nightmares, The Unit, NCIS, Blood Plus, Bleach, Narauto, Avatar, Legion of Super Heroes, The Batman and Pain Killer Jane to name a few.

Books:

The Foundation Novels (I have read 5 of the 7), The Bible, Freedom by Osho, Joy by Osho and a book about mixing and engineering (can't remember the name) that I have been trying to get to forever.

Heroes:

Jesus and my Dad. One taught me the importance of sacrifice and love and the other taught me how to sacrifice and love.

The Chicken Who Wanted To Fly

Once upon a time there was a chicken that lived on a farm out in the middle of nowhere.  Each day, the chicken would walk around the barn yard, eat the feed that the farmer so graciously sprinkle...

More Ranting From An Apparent Lunatic

Brace yourself... If you know me, then you know that I am generally grumpy and aloof and that I don't have a great love for organized situations (which is strange since I am freakishly organized in my...

DID YOU VOTE DAMN IT!

This one won't be long.  I just have a question. Why is it okay for someone to ask you if you voted (or if you will vote for that matter)? The question usaully causes anxiety in the person to who...
