pink_love myspace layoutsHmmm, a little about me?!! i'm still loving my house, it'll be a year next month and i'm just as excited about it, as i was when i first got the keys!!! I'm also excited to finally find the love of my life...and to think he'd been there all along! I first met my GG a little over 4 years ago and we were just friends, giving our perspectives on the relationships we were in, sharing war stories if you will..and all the while, GOD was preparing us for each other. He is my friend,first and foremost and i am most thankful for that. I finally saw it, heard it and felt it, the light that is(elevate ya minds people...lol) a few months ago, although, looking back on it, i had been falling all along. He makes me a better me and i love him soooo much. I hope that i am making him as happy as he's making me. ok, i could go on and on, but i won't....i'm just gonna be in this!!! Still working in television broadcasting. And when i have a spare moment, i try to read a good book, since no new shows are on! boooo, but that is about to end, thank goodness....i'm also beginning another journey....searching for a different kind of "light" overall, my life is,quoting Mary....JUST FINE!!!!! i would not trade any experience i've had, bad or good...because without all of it, i would not be who i am today and i Love me some Me!!!

My Interests

I've been interested in motorcycles for a minute, but am finally getting the nerve up to actually learn how to ride, check out my bikeclub, Trinitymsc.org. Also love reading, spending time with family and friends, travelling, meeting new people.

Oprah, TD Jakes..now to get totally groupie,i would love to meet Morris Chestnut, Samuel L. Jackson, MaDonna and Patti LaBelle, to name a few.. I got the chance to meet Cuba Gooding Jr. I'm still bummed that i wasn't able to meet Barack or Hilary when they came to my station....maybe next time.Yeah, i know, that was not what you were expecting...well, neither am I. I'm looking to meet all kinds of SANE and interesting people. The shy quiet type. The out of pocket, love to have fun, on the wild out tip, kind of folk. And everyone in between....cause let's face it, we all have those personalities within, it's just of matter of how much of each, we let everyone else see!!!!

Music:

Do NOT get me started!!!....I have been listening to, and loving, music since my mother's womb....seriously. I love all genres of music, my collection is random at best..from Bonnie Raitt to Donell Jones to Journey....then back to Trisha Yearwood......yeah!!! with some WuTang thrown in for good measure and a little Yanni....hmmmmmmKeyshia Cole - Heaven Sent

Movies:

Took my mom to see "Meet the Browns" last weekend...i am sooo a fan of Tyler Perry....and is it me, or is Angela Bassett the bomb?!!! She looks awesome! other movies i like are comedy, some action...don't do horror, unless i'm with other people...but i do love animated movies....so when u visit, don't think "the incredibles", "over the hedge" and the others are for when my little cousins come over, those are mine and i will fight u if ya try to leave with 'em!!! lol

Television:

TV, hmmmm, i'm ready for the new shows to start...gotta go back and do a Grey's anatomy recap, make a weekend or two of it!! I'm hooked on House of Payne & Psych. and i'm watching the PJ's again!!! on TVONE! lawd,eddie murphy is crazy

Books:

Love my African American authors....Yolanda Joe, Eric Jerome Dickey, Walter Mosely, Valerie Wesley Wilson, to name a sampling....and i would be remiss if i didn't mention, Zane!!! that's some fire for ya right there! just put down "Nervous" all imma say is WTHeck!!!

Heroes:

My mom,grandma and aunties.....also a few of my uncles...they all helped raise me and make me know the difference between a man and a good man...and appreciate the right one!!!
