About Me

i'm really short-- about 4'10" i write compulsively; if i don't have pen and paper, there's probably something wrong with me i'm known for not calling people i have really crappy internet and unstable access i know far too much about the first five years of x-files and stargate; ask me anything and i'll likely talk your ear off... and maybe keep going i consider myself goth but rarely look it i'm trying to be healthier i thought i was pregnant in march and i'm still sad it didn't stick i believe you can never have too many cats, goldfish, tea varieties, plants or books i've actually read the "feminine mystique" i have one tattoo and plan to have more i've only had three boyfriends, but they all lasted more then two years-- and they were all screwed up i waffle between wanting to live in a big city and wanting to ditch society all together and form my own commune far away from everything... and usually the commune wins out i like listening to music no one has heard of-- suggest something to me; i'm looking for new music i'm working on a novel that will be done by december or i'll severely beat myself i'm pagan, but i don't like the fluffiness of most of the books out there i don't really keep up on myspace much, but if you're persistent i'll get back to you i have a soft spot for fibonacci sequences i plan to one day own a vast collection of really big necklaces and plain black turtlenecks to show them off i like to cruise ebay for engrish i consider 'pirate' to be a viable career option i believe that if you're wearing enough jewelry, there's no such thing as naked, and subsequently there's no such thing as over accessorized i'm addicted to bangles and hairsticksmy photobucket albums

My Interests

writing, reading, eddie izzard, voltaire, 80's fantasy, david bowie, fantasy and scifi, goth clubs, cats, paganism, plants, knee-high stripy socks, movies, shiny things, ceramics...

I'd like to meet:

living or dead? living... i've met voltaire and anne mccaffrey and liz hand and pc hodgell and peter straub; what more is there? i'd like to make out with heath ledger-- does that count? ooh, i'd love to meet david bowie, even though i kknow i'd be useless in his presence. dead... carl sagan; sylvia plath; dunno who else... on here, i'd like to meet people who have enough in common with me to get along-- fun, smart, witty people who like movies and books... gothy people who don't take themselves too seriously... writers who don't take themselves too seriously... hot boys... was that last one out loud? ~;)

Music:

bowie! voltaire! rasputina! VAST! depeche mode! um... also... the white stripes, poe, offspring, nine inch nails, franz ferdinand, flogging molly, spashdown, guano apes, dj why and the image, crack and lighterfluid...

Movies:

labyrith, legend, last unicorn, princess bride, rocky horror, velvet goldmine, monty python and the holy grail, lost boys, any well-formed formulaic comedy romance, the abyss, formula 51...

Television:

x-files (always x-files), farscape, stargate, gilmore girls, cowboy bebop, project runway, trigun, fruitsbasket, chobits, any of those past-recreation shows on pbs, anything about anthropology or atlantis or human origins, pretender, profiler, silly 80s cartoons... notice these are mostly old; there isn't alot on right now that i bother to watch...

Books:

the narnia series, the hero and the crown / the blue sword / deerskin, the red tent, robber bride, anything by carl sagan, shadowmarch, left hand of darkness, lots of silly pagan books, last unicorn / fine and private place, gothic (the actual stuff from the 1800s-ish), diane ackerman's i praise my destroyer, godstalk / dark of the gods / seeker's mask, angela's ashes, eats shoots and leaves...

Heroes:

i don't really have heros... i try really hard not to idolize people like that, but i am a screaming fangirl for voltaire (in case you couldn't notice), farscape and everything atatched to it, people made of ink from japan, always david bowie...
