Urfaust is an Ambient project started by IX (Vloekwaard of Grimm and Zwartketterij) in 1999. The first demo "Urvaterlicher Sagen" was recorded. After 4 years VRDRBR joined Urfaust to do drums and IX decided to replace the synthesizer for the guitar. The first album "Geist ist Teufel" was released, which included the "Urvaterlicher Sagen" demo. DLN joined the Urfaust clan to take care of the orchestral work. The second album "Verräterischer, Nichterwurdeiger Geist" came out. New work that shall be recorded: A split 7" with Joyless (NOR) through Blood Fire Death (USA). A split PicLP with Basilisk (UK) through Goatowarex (AUSTRALIA).
