Modern Eyes....hardcore for hardcore kids.It seems as though we've entered a day and age where hardcore has
officially crossed over to mainstream culture. Nowadays you can turn
on MTV or VH1 and on any given show you'll seem to find some hardcore
shirt or poster. Bands that last week were playing basements and VFWs
are now doing full headlining rock club tours....or bigger. Every
band seems to be under the impression that they'll be the next band to
strike gold off of hardcore.Modern Eyes, however, aren't diluting ourselves. We don't believe
we'll be the next big thing. We're simply four dudes playing simple,
straight up hardcore because of our love for it. Other bands we've
been in include Time for Living (Rivalry Records) and Set Your Goals
(Eulogy Records). As Modern Eyes, we've been a band since about
mid-2006 (our first show being back in June). As of this point, we've
hand made about 500-600 demos and distributed them all around the
world.We're ready and willing to tour any and everywhere as often as
possible to hopefully spread our love for hardcore to anyone willing
to listen. We're not expecting to be the next Hatebreed or Terror
We're not going to water down what we do to make it more palatable for
mass consumption. We're not expecting to change the world. We're just
hoping to create something that hardcore kids, the world around, will
be into.
