Pissed off, politically charged, and passionate about preserving their music and culture, Killing Kings buck current trends of modern day Hardcore in favor of a more classic approach. Taking cues from the streetwise delivery of bands like Biohazard and Sick of It All, they are on mission to stand and deliver their own state of the world address from the perspective of the American working class.
KILLING KINGS was formed in September 2004 with Steve, James, and Nathan who are all Denver transplants from Haverhill, Massachusetts (20 min. north of Boston). Having well over 12 years of history together, and being good friends from the same pile of shit hometown, the friendship bond and common understanding is unquestionable. Timmy is also a denver transplant. ( originaly from California ) He joined the band in 2005 to thug the bass and to show off his oversized penis at unsuspecting bandmates. Alvino joined the band in late 2005, bringing a 2nd guitar to our sound. He gave two years of blood, sweat and tears to Killing Kings and has since moved on. In early 2007 Mike has taken over 2nd guitar. Being a long time friend, and also being from Haverhill Massachusetts, Mike has completed the circle with denver transplants in our band's line up. KILLING KINGS is a very political based, WORKING CLASS HARDCORE BAND that is not afraid to speak it's mind and push the boundaries of what is hardcore and what is not. With STRAIGHT EDGE and NON-STRAIGHT EDGE MEMBERS, we are always striving to do better and be better at what we do with life lessons of hardship and struggle as the driving force. We represent DENVER HARDCORE along with other great bands in this city, placing M.H.H.C. on the map.
