Mista is a self -raised youngin from D.C. to Dallas, who made it to this point in his career from being persistent and consistent, while laying the pipeline for his industry explosion, with his unique ability to be very versatile, or in his words, "the most versatile beast on any hip-hop team". Mista has numerous performances to his credit, from the Go-Go's in D.C., to rocking Shaw University in North Carolina with Lords of the Underground to opening for D.J.Kool and Too Short at The Spy Club in Dallas. He has the title track on lock for the upcoming movie titled "The Rage Within" staring Fred Williamson, directed by Michael Norris, and is slated for a Winter release (please check www.makingfilms.com for release updates and Movie Trailer). Currently, Mista is involved in the G-N-R Compilation CD on G-N-R records, which features artist such as Mista aka Freddy James, M-B-Z, T-Banks, and Lil-Bow to name a few. Also be looking for Mista on Butta B's album titled 'Diversified' with the hard hitting 'Hustle Hard' single.. While currently performing and promoting the compilation, Mista is also in the studio working on his second self promoted album titled Pure Fire VOL II which includes production by M-B-Z, G-Rock, T-Banks and ATL's Weed-Head.
