Biografia
Il progetto “Fabryka” si forma alla fine del 2004 dall’incontro tra Stefano Milella (programming, tastiere, batteria), Tiziana Felle (voce, chitarre), Giovanni Chiapparino (piano, batteria, fisarmonica) e Agostino Scaranello (basso, effetti). Nel 2007 si unisce alla band Raffaele Stellacci ( tastiere, synth, piano).
Il progetto tenta di riunire in una espressione omogenea musica acustica ed elettronica, visuals, immagine studiata e improvvisata su video e palco. tentativo di far convivere il “reale” con “l’immaginario”, la “favola” con la “materia”, “parola” con la “metafora”. “Fabryka” si potrebbe definire un “momento” in cui le diverse facce di un’unica espressione riescono a convivere contemporaneamente.
Il nome si ad un documentario di Kieslowski ed all’idea di fabbrica, di arte come catena di montaggio in cui le varie fasi di piccolissimi assemblaggi fra “pezzi” diversi portano alla formazione un prodotto omogeneo che non mostra dichiaratamente le sue fasi di formazione, quello che appunto succede nell’arte fra pensiero ed espressione, sentimento ed esternazione, immaginazione e produzione.
Se pur in piedi da poco il progetto ottiene ottimi riconoscimenti come "Best live Media 2005" ad ArezzoWave, "Premio SIAE" per la migliore musica a Musicultura Festival XVII ( ex Premio Recanati ) e vince il contest Nokia for Music 2006. Partecipa alle principali manifestazioni del settore (MTV Blooming Days, Time Zones "Experimenta 05", "ControFestival" su Radio Popolare Network, Nokia for Music 2006, supporter di Matmos, Goldie, Popolus, Gotan Project, Carla Bozulich ).
Biography
The project FABRYKA begins at the end of 2004, when Stefano Milella (programming, synth, drums ), Tiziana Felle (vocals, guitars), Giovanni Chiapparino (piano, drums, accordion, vibes) and Agostino Scaranello (bass, effects) get together. Raffaele Stellacci (keyboards,synth, rhodes) starts playing with Fabryka in the 2007.
In spite of its young set up the band gains a recognition and it is featured at important events.The project aspires to happily blend acoustic and electronic music, researched and improvised visuals, all performed or re-created on stage, trying to overcome the separation between reality and fiction, fairy tales and raw matter, words and metaphores. One of FABRYKAs possible definitions is the very moment in which different faces of the same expression live together.
The band's name is taken from a Kieslowski doc-movie, but is inspired too by the idea of Art as a Factory, as an assembly line where little pieces are assembled into a product, in which its story, the phases of production are not yet readable: as often happens in Art between thought and expression, feeling and showing, imagination and action.
Fabryka supported Matmos, Goldie, Popolous, Gotan Project, Carla Bozulich. The band won many contests as "Best Live Media 2005" at Arezzo Wave Festival, "Premio SIAE" best music at Musicultura Festival XVII and Nokia For Music 2006. They also played at MTV Blooming days, Time Zones "Experimenta 05", "Controfestival" on Radio Popolare Network and Nokia For Music 2006.
