I always loved singing along to my favourites as a youngster (especially on long family road trips!), and I was also a member of several church choirs and school orchestral ensembles. After school I decided to bite the bullet and pursue music further...... I formed a vocal group with some uni friends in 1994 and we performed at local r&b dance-parties. From there, I joined forces with Gibert and Ilza of the Blackbeat crew for about 6 months doing live gigs, before going on to head the marketing force behind local r&b/hip-hop record label Core Entertainment, where we nurtured local talent and saw a couple of parties, singles and music videos go ahead. With a keen interest in the industry as a whole, I also worked for APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association), nightclubs, a wholesale music distribution company, and temped for a couple of the major labels. Over the next few years I performed in several R&B vocal groups, in shows and talent quests around Brisbane, including a stint with the FRS (Flavors Radio Show) crew, when they were heading up The Gig nightclub, and taking Brisbane by storm! From there I formed a vocal duo with singing partner Maita, performing around Brisbane and the Gold Coast, including the successful Rocket Festival at the Brisbane Riverstage. I took a few years break, to undertake further studies and an alternate career as a graphic designer. NOW.... I've come full circle, and I'm back in the game!!!! Joining forces with FRS once again, I'm now taking it to the next level - writing and FINALLY recording my own music!!!I will be posting tracks on myspace in the coming months, so stay tuned!
