This Image Is From BestMyspaceGoodies.comYes, my name really is Gin. I get that question a lot! I am the single mom of the two coolest little boys I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. They are my daily joy and torment! That is parenthood in a nutshell, I think! I love life, it seems to have a bit too much drama for me lately, but every day is a treasure and I try not to let the trying parts get me down. I am here because all of my best friends are here and far away from me. I am here because I have found many people I thought I'd lost along the way. I am here to meet new, wonderful, interesting people. I think we should all be free to do the things that bring us joy (unless it hurts others, of course) and I think those who try to impose their "morals" or beliefs on others are wrong and doing more harm than anything. If you are one of these people, if you can't accept that people are different and it is what makes us all so wonderful, then we probably would not get along well.

Music:

I could seriously go on about music for a long time. I love local rock - Delmag, Jeb (AK bands) and many, many various Seattle area bands. There are too many on my mp3 player to list but here's a sampling: Korn, disturbed, offspring, AFI, my chemical romance, the used, 30 seconds to mars, Atreyu, Chevelle, David Gray (really, I'm not kidding!), fall out boy, features, faith no more, greaan day, muse, our lady peace, radiohead, Panic! at the disco, pixies, shinedown (I do an awesome 45 and simple man!), simple plan, sum 41, system of a down, the vines, weezer.

Movies:

Ok - favorite movies!: Rocky Horror Picture Show, Too Wong Foo, leaving normal, IT, blair witch project, the color purple, toy story (I have kids! We all like toy story!), long kiss goodnight, I could go on...

Television:

what is tv? my dad thought I joined a cult when I got rid of the cable - but I'm working on a masters' degree - who has time! When I did watch tv - I liked CSI and house.

Books:

For fun!?! Harry Potter, mostly kids books - comes with the territory. The Plague, Brave New World, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, I majored in English Lit before I switched to accounting where I could make some money!

Heroes:

I don't have any "real" heroes, but I appoint at least one person my hero every day - the person who brings me lunch cause I'm too busy to go out, the guy who fixed my sofa after a jumping child broke it, the person who knows the answer to the puzzle I can't figure out, opens my mountain dew for me when I've closed it too tightly and can't re-open it. If it's a really bad day, anyone who can make me laugh is my hero!
