She comes from a family of artists and undertook a carrier as a ballet dancer while studying flamenco at the Spanish National Ballet.
In 1985 she obtained the First Price of the academy of Dance of Madrid.
On stage , as guest artist of numerous dance companies and of prestigious theatres , the Palais Garnier of Paris, The Opera Bastille
she already imagines in her own way the costumes she wears.From this experience full of references , fed with an iron discipline and a great taste of estheticism , she develops a remarkable personality wich is drawn by other paths to express her emotions.Cecile Christy come back to France in 1986 and wins the First Price of the Galeries Lafayettes design contest , wich opens the doors on Esmod for her, where she gained the necessary basis.
Moreover, she is lucky enough to be trained at Karl Lagerfeld's where she draws collections of accessories
Her sketches will be bought for several seasons.Self-taught woman, with an heterogeneous taste , she undertake her own solo way on Christian Lacroix's warm advices.
From them she will only follow her own instinct.Her inspiration results from her passion for the theatrical universe, her obsession for elegance and her love for colours.Her book has became a great mosaic that is being declined in every style, from theatre costumes to table art , from accessories to decoration objets, from pieces of furniture to scenographies.For her, creation has no limit.
