About Me

Here's my proper bio (subject to change without prior notice) I am an Iraqi-Canadian artist who lives and works in Montreal. Being an Iraqi of origin in a post-9/11 world, I draw reference to my politicized identity through my artwork. I describe my work as a commentary on the media, history, politics and social issues as related to being an Arab woman in todays world.
