Nomadic Massive is a Montreal based collective of independent Hip-Hop artists who have come together in an effort to combine their energies and spread their music across borders. The crew is made up of independent artists who share a similar vision of music and life as well as a desire to travel and experience the cultures of the world through their art. Although this collective is new, it’s members have been working in the music community for many years as artists but also as radio show host, organizers, educators, street-workers, producers and other community oriented roles.WHY Nomadic Massive? Because they are cultural nomads, all uprooted since birth and latching on to Hip-Hop to express this disruption. The crew reps a cultural diversity reflective of the city they evolve in. With Chilean, French, Haitian, Chinese, Iraqi and Argentine backgrounds. They also rap in English, French, Spanish, Creole and Arabic. Musical nomads also, representing an open-minded Hip-Hop which finds it’s inspiration in the tradition of the past, combining samplers, turntables and traditional instruments. Well aware of the contradictions of Hip-Hop’s globalization process, the massive feels it is vital to be in touch with other scenes across the world, especially those in less developed economies, to share, learn, be inspired and spread a message of love, peace and universal understanding.ANGLAIS, FRANCAIS, CREOLE, ESPAGNOLE ET ARABE

Nomadic Massive est un collectif dartistes Hip Hop indépendants qui se sont rassemblés dans le but de combiner leurs énergies et détendre leur musique au-delà des frontières. Le groupe est composé dartistes partageant une vision similaire de la musique et de la vie ainsi quun désir de voyager et de connaître les cultures du monde à travers leur art.Pourquoi Nomadic Massive? Parce quils sont des nomades culturels.
Tous déracinés depuis la naissance, ils se sont rattachés à la culture Hip Hop pour exprimer cette disruption. Ils représentent aussi une diversité culturelle qui reflète bien lesprit de la ville dans laquelle ils évoluent : on y retrouve des origines chilienne, française, haïtienne, chinoise, irakienne et argentine. Les MC du groupe chantent et rappent en Anglais, Français, Espagnol, Créole et en Arabe. Il sagit aussi de nomades musicaux qui appuient un Hip Hop à lesprit ouvert et qui puise son inspiration dans les traditions du passé en combinant samples, tables tournantes et instruments traditionnels.
