The Sullivans are formed at the first months of 2006 in Juarez city in Mexico and El Paso Texas in the U.S, the sullivans sound can be described as a back to basics rock and roll with hints of Folk and Britpop. In the short life the band has had, they have already shared stage with these cities biggest bands
In October they decided to start recording sessions for what would become their debut album ..Listen like I Love.. due out in 2007. The album was recorded at Nor Oriental Studios by Omar Villescaz. Mike Major (who is producer for Sparta and many more bands)will master the album in Seattle Washington, ..Listen like I Love will contain 12 songs, that travel like an odyssey of rock, pop, folk and Britpop.
At the end of 2006 the Song Sweet Tangerine will be part of a compilation of greatest hits of American bands. The famed promoter of band promote and indy hits, Mike Galaxy, is in charge of this project and has handpicked this band to be part of this compilation, that will get distributed to radio stations, producers, record company..s and people in the industry. Even though the band has had a very short lifespan, The Sullivans have had a very warm welcome by fans, musicians and first time listeners, making them one the hottest acts on both sides of the border in both countries. The Sullivans have been invited to be the opener for different bands one of them is a top band in Mexico, Division Minuscula, the show was an absolute success winning fans and breaking the language barrier.
The Sullivans have only one goal, and that is to reach as many people as possible, and that they enjoy music just like they do, and to remind people that music is still fun, just like it use to be in the sixties just like rock and roll is meant to be, fun, exciting, and great.
Their songs are all in English, but are not discarding recording in Spanish in future albums.
Within the first months of the new year there is the release of the album ..Listen Like I Love.. , the premier of the first single ..Sweet Tangerine.. and the video for this song, that will be released in different parts of the U.S and Mexico and of course thru the power of the internet to all parts of the world.

En lo que lleva de vida, la banda a tenido presentaciones exitosas compartiendo escenario con bandas locales. En Octubre deciden meterse de lleno al estudio y asi crear su primer material discografico llamado "Listen Like I Love.." que esta por salir en el 2007.
