the list is constantly evolving, but a few names will always stand out amongst the rest: darren aronofsky (p, reqieum for a dream), mamoru oshii (ghost in the shell), tarantino, kubrick, oliver stone, kevin smith, guy ritchie, trey parker/matt stone and chris cunningham to name a few.
