Hey there everyone! Welcome to the site of Afterthought! Joe Patterson and Ben Phillips had been playing together in worship bands for a few years when they began writing their own materials. They talked and prayed and decided that they wanted to start a band outside of the worship team realm, but still pleasing to God. That is how Afterthought was formed. As a band now we are really working hard on pushing the power of Purity in every aspect of the word. We want people to realize that purity is good. It isnt boring! But like i said, in every aspect of the word. This means in thoughts, actions, words, and everything else you could think of! With our lyrics we hit on points about problems that we all face while trying to be pure, and we are not a band that sings songs of dispair. We show hope in all of our songs, because we know that there is hope for every sinner. We want people to know that! That is why we are a band, and that is why we do what we do. We want to be used by God to reach out to the unsaved. That is what we are about.
