I enjoy poetry, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick...
Mainly, people to go to shows, clubs, and concerts with.
I'm also looking to try some new things. I have pissed away enough of my life (email me if you really want to know the whole story) and I'm hell bent on making up for lost time, so I'm assertively looking to do things I have never done before or haven't done in ages (i.e. horseback riding, rollerblading).
I am interested in friends, not friend-whores. Please don't add me if you're just looking to stockpile people in your friends page (excluding bands).
I'll also admit I wouldn't mind finding the right Vampire Princess if she's out there...
These days I'm usually listening to classical music when I'm not playing with Gorman Prophecy . Having said that, some of my favorite bands (in no particular order) are Pantera, Vital Remains, Acid Bath, Dry Kill Logic, Slayer, Bad Brains, Slipknot, Nevermore, Lamb Of God, Arch Enemy, Borknager, Dark Tranquility, The Haunted, Krisiun, Nothingface, Killswitch Engage, Machine Head, Mastadon, Sacred Hate, King's X, and Zeke...
I have to concur with my bass player Charlie when he says "NO MUSIC WHERE YOU PUSH A FUCKING BUTTON AND 'SAMPLE' (STEAL) MUSIC WHEN YOU CAN'T PLAY A FUCKING NOTE YOURSELF!!!!!"
Amadeus, The Devil's Rejects, Harold and Kumar Go To Whitecastle, Cradle Of Fear, Strange Days, 28 Days Later, From Dusk Till Dawn, Requiem For A Dream, Vampires, Trainspotting, Interview With The Vampire, Pulp Fiction, They Live, Red Dragon, The Warriors, Spinal Tap, Sid & Nancy, Bird, The Doors, Beyond The Law, Kurt & Courtney, Kentucky Fried Movie, Gone In 60 Seconds, Up In Smoke, South Park, Resident Evil (the first one), The Ring, Deconstructing Harry, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Silence Of The Lambs, Ray, Heavy Metal, Heavy Metal 2000, Gangs Of New York, The Star Wars series, Jackie Brown, The Scary Movie series, Kiss The Girls, Caddyshack, Stripes, New York Stories, Hannibal, Kingpin, Con Air, Natural Born Killers, The Shining, Helter Skelter, Sweet n' Lowdown, Zelig, Outbreak, Fargo, and way too many more to mention here...
I don't watch TV.
The essential for me is James Allen's 'As A Man Thinketh'. Other favorites are anything written by James Patterson, Frederick Forsythe, John Grisham, Tami Hoag, and anything involving Illegal Drugs and/or Serial Killers...Relax, I'm not aspiring to be one.
Dimebag Darrell and Randy Rhoads. May you both RIP.
Pat Tillman--this was a guy that gave up an NFL career and everything that came with it to die fighting for something he believed in and refused any special treatment in doing so. No matter where your politics lie, that's pretty admirable.
Lance Armstong--anyone who can come back from cancer and win six Tour De France's is definitely an inspiration.
