Straight out of Anson County..... Wadesboro, North Carolina. Marc Grady Mane was influenced at an early age to rap due to his surrounding hip hop influences he found in his household and family. MGM began freestylin around his friends and family for fun and eventually was able to showcase his rap ability at the age of twelve at a school talent show. From that day forward he progressed his skills and was found being the center of many rap cyphers and battle raps throughout his junior and high school years. In high school he began to write songs and record at his own will in his parents house and later started to record with other artists who shared his common grind. He would then enroll in college and his drive for success continued and MGM linked up with the Platinum Playboys(hometown friends) and began to make magic. They then began to immediately drop hits and recorded the smash hit "Get em Ready," soon after MGM and the PPB linked up with Niz and joined flamethrower recordz only to release smash after smash on their 1st mixtape "Flamethrower Presents: Platinum Playboy Muzik Vol.1." From the mixtape a slew of smashes arose including MGM's single "Yes U R A Hater" which gave way for him to display his songwriting ability and creativity. Along with the song he and da flamethrower family soon after shot a video for the song as well. To date MGM is working on releasing his first solo mixtape "Welcome to Anson County" in da fall of 2006 followed by his solo debut "Anson County Muzik Vol. 1" in da spring of 2007. It is not hard to tell that MGM will be a force to reckoned with in Da rap industry with his catchy lyrics strong delivery and drive for success. As quoted by MGM himself, If i can't make it then there must not be ingredients. enuff said
