First of all, I am sick of everyone just adding me and never saying anything to me again ever... I will only approve requests of people that share my interests and might have something to say and bands that I do actually like, but chances are I already added you!
So... About me...
I am a drummer! I love drumming different styles like Drum n Bass and Metal. I am currently involved in the Black Metal band Funeral Bell!
Next to that I play percussion in fanfare orchestra "De Hoop!" Eight times national champion on amateur level, highest division! So not just any orchestra either ;)
I'm attending university right now. I'm studying common art and culture sciences, it's a broad study with many aspects concerning art and culture, like the economy, sociology, history and organisation of anything that has to do with art and culture. I'm in my first year now, so I'm still orienting on the right course for me. I have no idea what I want to do when I finish my study.
Other 'interesting' stuff about me might be that, in a long gone past, I've done some acting, painting and piano playing. I don't do any of those anymore though. I suck at piano, I don't know about acting, but I might still have some painting skills... ;)
Some of my favourite painters are Vincent Van Gogh, Jeroen Bosch, H.R. Giger, Luis Royo, M.C. Escher, Jeroen Van Valkenburg, Rob Gonsalves, Chris Moyen and Kris Verwimp.
I'm also interested in musical and theater. Since I was about six years of age I've been to many musicals and theater productions. Some of my favourite (and most memorable) were The Phantom Of The Opera, The 3 Musketeers, Grease, Anatevka, Miss Saigon, Joe, Lord Of The Dance and many many more!
I also enjoy playing computer games from time to time. I don't really keep up with what's going on in 'game world' anymore, but some of my fave games would be the Final Fantasy serie (for playstation, ultimate fave FFVII), Baldur's Gate II, Neverwinter Nights I & II, The Sims, Dungeon Siege, Dungeon Keeper II and Warcraft III.
I've seen quite a lot of the world (for my age). I've been to very different countries like Indonesia, Canada, Chzech, Greece, Kenia, Israel, Ireland, Whales/England, Iceland and Finland so I've seen my share of both welfare and misery, cities and nature. I would still like to visit Norway! And I hopefully will this summer!
I am not religious, in fact I tend to see religious people as stupid (dumb followers of something they cannot prove to exist, in the end it comes down to doing what someone else tells you to do). This does not mean that I hate all christians, muslims or whatever. I live in a very christian community and, even though I do not involve myself with them a lot, it is inevitable that I DO have christian friends and family! I even went to a christian school for eight years, so I know a fair deal about the bible. I look to a person rather than his or her religion!
This also means I do not judge a person by it's race! I am no racist in any way! I treat men, women, black, white, gay, bi, straight, Asian, European, American or African all the same!
Other than that I've been a vegetarian for nearly half of my life. I dislike the fact that we breed and abuse animals just for eating. Besides, they don't eat us either.
