The Diaz Bros.

About Me

Taken from the movie Scarface, The name Diaz Bros. represents all the bad things outlaws stand for and embody. Ruthless and tenacious, the name fits these two boys very well. These hellions are mostly know as members of the rock-n-roll bad boys Pimpadelic. But we all have roots and they don't deny that country music is part of theirs.
BRV grew up in Dallas, TX listening to his grandfather's radio while he rode around with him. Some of his earliest influences were Johnny Paycheck and George Jones. It wasn't until his partying days that he discovered his biggest honky-tonk hero, Gary Stewart. He spent his early days playing drums and fronting outlaw bands like Doin' Without and Lo Down Inc. Stayin' true to country musicians, it isn't hard to find this guy to far from a bar or a bottle of Jack Daniel's.
Riding in from the west finds his counterpart Easy Jesus Coe. He makes Ft. Worth, TX his home and has all his life. Growing up in smoky bars and VFWs, EJC found his country influences early on in life too. Keith Whitley and Earl Thomas Conley are a couple, just to name a few. Penning such songs as "Texas" and "Drunk Again" you'll soon find out why these two compliment each other so much.
Their first album is due out anyday now and you are sure to feel right at home with their music. That is, if yur home is the local dive on a lonely road to nowhere.
