HOLLOW-POINT

Hollow-Point originally started as a band called WHO-SANE in early 2000.
The band consisted of Jaime Roach, who is now the former drummer of Hollow-Point, on Vocals, Malcolm roach on guitar Chuck MCcormac on Bass, Rich Schmidt on Drums.
Within Who-Sane's few years they played the likes of many venues in the area as well as Sportsters, which was a great local venue for all ages shows. Unfortunatley Sportsters had to close their doors. Soon, Rich had to leave for the Armed Forces leaving the band without a drummer. Jaime decided to later hop behind the kit, discovering yet another talent.
In the Spring 0f 2002 the boys from Who-Sane were strummin it out with added guitarist Steve Dorsey, at Malcolm's Fathers old warehouse, which is now a Kawasaki dealer, on Rte 13 in Levittown, Directly next to Bristol Tattoo, which at the time Joe Rakowski was a body piercer along with Tattooists Dan and Joe. The boys from Who-sane came over to take a look at the happenings over at the shop at which time Joe(Tattooist) told Joe Rakowski of how the boys jammed out in the warehouse directly next door. Joe stopped looked at Joe Rakowski, realizing he was a singer desperately seeking a band, and told him to walk the fuck next door.
Joe hung out and watched the band that night and was greatly impressed. The next week the boys brought a Pa in , Joe spewed it out and the band quickly started writing and re-writing songs that with in just a few weeks ,they would record their first cd called "Embrace the High Times" at Echo Studios in Tullytown,Pa with Original owner Pat.
Hollow-Point would be featured weekly on Wysp's Loud and Local For many many weeks with Tommy Conwell. They would also go on to play many local Bars and Venues in the entire Tri-State Area. Within just a year, Hollow-Point would split up due to some personal issues.
After 3 years Hollow-Point would reform with Joe Rakowski(vocals), Malcolm Roach Jr(guitar, vocals),New guitarist and long time supporter of the band- Rj (Guitar, Vocals), Chuck MCcormac(Bass), and Dan Brown( drums).
With in a month of playing , the boys were back to constantly writing new material at the one and Only-1021 Studios 2 (Formerly ECHO studios) in Tullytown.

Hollow-point is a band you cannot really throw into a genre. We constantly write new and different songs that cannot be strung into any specific category, but we can say it's fucking Music!
The music aims to be a total cerebral assault from all stand points. The lyrical content aims to consume and for the listener to take full control and incorporate the music into there life and interpretation.
With songs Like "I Hate" to songs like "Welded Chains" , "Blind Pride", still only being heard at LIVE shows, is a another bludgeoning example of the diversity of the music, and the message of never relenting, and standing up for what you believe in!!
Hollow-Point is not a band that can be judged by just one song!

Joe and Malcolm also run BEATBUSH PRODUCTIONS- FUCKED UP FRIDAY'S & SHIT FACED SATURDAYS at the one and only STREET ROAD BAR AND GRILL in Bensalem,Pa.
We host the LARGEST original night in the area! $1.50 Lionshead bottles- $1 drafts, we have a usual night of 150+ at the shows. We work very hard and bring in the hardest working original bands in the area,of all genres, to play these nights.
